Founded in 1951, First Missionary Baptist Church is an ecclesiastical organization located in the city of Brownstown, MI. It is the first and only African American church founded in the city of Brownstown. It is a family friendly church with a focus on 'Togetherness' in the worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible, in its entirety, and strive to be followers and to spread love as God has commanded. We are a growing multicultural congregation that serves the Brownstown community and surrounding areas. We believe that everyone, whether member or visitor, who comes to FMBC should gain a sense of belonging and know that they are valued within the body of Christ.
